PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear Staff, Parents, Guardians, and Students,

As we begin the new Academic Year 2026–2027, let us invoke God’s abundant
blessings upon each one of us and upon all the activities planned for this year.
With every passing year, we continue to make a meaningful and positive
impact on the lives of our school community—students, parents, guardians,
staff, administration, and all our valued stakeholders. I express my sincere
gratitude to each of you for your continued support and contributions to the
welfare and growth of our School.
St. Xavier’s School, Burdwan is blessed with a dedicated and commendable
team of teaching and non-teaching staff whose expertise and commitment to
education are widely appreciated. True to the spirit of Jesuit Education, every
member of our staff strives to form our students into “men and women for
others.” In this esteemed Jesuit institution, special emphasis is placed on care
for the whole person—one of the hallmarks of Jesuit education. Our
curriculum is thoughtfully designed to provide opportunities for every student
to grow and succeed through holistic development.
I am pleased to announce that from this academic year, we have introduced
Robotics and Artificial Intelligence into our curriculum. Additionally, we have
incorporated a special day of Retreat and Reflection for our senior students. I
am confident that these initiatives will further enrich the learning experience
and enhance the overall development and quality of life of our students.
Our students and their parents remain our greatest pride and strongest
support. Together, we embrace the vision of JesuitEducation, which seeks not
only academic excellence but also the transformation of society—promoting
justice, equality of opportunity, genuine freedom, and deep respect for
religious and moral values alongside the regular teaching-learning process.
