GENERAL INFORMATION OF THE SCHOOL

St. Xavier’s School, Burdwan established in February 1964, is an English
Medium School run by the Society of Jesus (Calcutta Jesuit Fathers). The aim of
this institution is to impart sound moral, intellectual and physical education to
the young. Great care is taken to form the character of the pupils, to train
them to become all round personalities: self reliant, capable of taking
initiatives, and possessing a leadership of service.
