GENERAL INFORMATION

1.SCHOOL TIMING

1. Class Hours : L. K.G. - Class 5 : 07.50 A.M. - 01.00 P.M.

Class 6 – Class 12 : 07.30 A.M. - 02.00 P.M.
2. Saturday is the usual weekly holiday unless otherwise specified in the
Calendar.
If unforeseen or forced holidays are declared, the ‘lost’ working days will be
made up on Saturdays.

2. BOARD OF AFFILIATION

A. The School is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate
Examinations, New Delhi (Code No. : WB006)and Indian School Certificate (ISC)
Examinations. The ICSE & ISC Examinations are recognised by Universities all
over the country. Affliation No. - 797R/II-26

B. SUBJECTS OF THE ICSE EXAMINATION
(i) COMPULSORY INTERNAL EXAMINATION
Candidates for the examination will be required to have completed
satisfactorily the following courses :

a) Third Language Hindi/Bengali from at least Class V to VIII
b) Art

c) Physical Education

d) Education in moral and spiritual values

e) Socially Useful Productive Work and Community Service (SUPW)
(ii) COMPULSORY SUBJECTS OF EXAMINATION AT THE END OF CLASSES IX-X :
A. External Examination (Class X), Internal Examination (Class IX)
Part I: One Written paper( 80 marks): External.
Part II: Project work (20 marks): Internal.

2. Second Language (Bengali / Hindi)
3. History &Civics (Paper I )
4. Geography (Paper 2)
5. Mathematics
6. Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
7. Computer Applications / Economic Applications.
