5. All those candidates who have previously attended another school must
produce original Transfer Certificate.
6. Application from parents at the beginning of a school year to place their
wards in a class / section of their own choice shall not be entertained.
7. The Principal’s decision is final in all matters of admission.
8. Admission to class XI is not automatic, it depends on the students’
behaviour, academic performance and at the discretion of the Principal
even for the students who have completed the ICSE at St. Xavier’s School,
Burdwan.

The ISC is a separate course. A new application is required for admission to this
course. The criteria or the cut off percentage will vary from year to year,
depending upon the overall results of the students in the relevant subjects in
the ICSE Examination.

5. RULES FOR PAYMENT

a. The school fees cover 12 calendar months.
No reduction is made for holidays or broken periods.
b. Fees under any head of payment may be subject to an increase at a later
date. In such circumstances parents will be duly informed.
c. Yearly extras must be paid with the monthly fees of April.
d. Fees must be paid online only through school website
(http://www.sxs-bwn.org) by using the internet banking, Debit Card
(Rupay), Credit Card and UPI only.
e. Cheque must be payable to : THE PRINCIPAL, St. Xavier’s School. Money
Orders, and Bank Cheques sent by post, will not be accepted.
f. Fees may be paid in advance for the whole year.
g. Pupils are liable to be charged full fees as long as their names have not
been struck off the rolls. Defaulters will be charged a fine of Rs 100/-
cumulatively for each month.
h. If the School Calendar is lost, a new calendar can be bought at school
stationery for Rs 200/-.
i. Do not pay beyond March / Current Financial year. No refund or
readjustment will be made once the payment is done.
j. The Annual or Semester results of the students who have arrears will not
be announced or a Transfer certificate issued before all dues are paid in
full. The names of those who have arrears for more than two months will
be struck off the rolls and an admission fee charged for readmission.
