THE SEXUAL HARASSMENT OF WOMEN AT WORKPLACE
(Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013
To deal with this Act, an Internal complaints Committee is in place. Any
complaint / grievance related to this act must be reported in writing to the
Presiding Officer (who is a senior employed at a senior level at workplace).

SAFETY OF CHILDREN AND STAFF
1. The safety, security and wellbeing of the children are the highest
priority for the school and shall be given utmost importance at all
times by all stakeholders including staff, teachers, parents, guardians,
students themselves.
2. The Child Protection Committee is set up to safeguard the children in
their formative years. The Committee consists of a management
representative, staff representative, a lawyer/medical doctor, a
parent and a counsellor.
3. Child Protection Officers are appointed to make a study of the
problems that the students face in the school and peer groups. The
names and contact details of Child Protection Officers are publicised
for all so that any intervention may be provided as necessary.
4. Any student who wishes to come forward for any support or guidance
is welcome to do so. Any parent or guardian or third person who
wishes to raise any issue on child safety may also do so as per the
Child Protection Committee procedures.
5. A counsellor is available in the school for any help required for the
growth and development of the child
FACILITIES
(a) The school has HOSTEL accommodation (only for Tribal boys).
(b) The School has a library of useful and interesting books on English, Bengali,
Hindi, Science, Humanities, Computer Science and Commerce.
(c) Well equipped Laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology are provided
for the students from Classes 8 to 12.
(d) School has well-equipped computer laboratories with internet connection
for the staff and students. Computer Education is provided to all Students.
Its objective is to introduce computers as a tool to supplement and expand
the learning experience through the use of educational programmes.
(e) Games and Sports are an integr al part of the school curriculum. Yoga
football, cricket, basketball coaching are provided.
(f) The School has well-planned and coordinated Student Exposure Programs.
(g) Training in Robotics and AI is available.
